  • Hello @f8ajar, I hope you are doing well today!

It looks like it is a conflict between the plugins that you have activated on your site.
Can you replicate the same when all the other plugins are deactivated?

Deactivate all other plugins, switch to a default WordPress theme and test if everything is working on your site. If everything is well, activate one plugin at a time to find the one that causes this.

Would you please let me know what plugin are you using to show the vertical scroller on your site so I could test it on my installation?

    Please advise,

    Cheers,
    Nastia

    Hi Nastia,

    Thank you for your reply.
The plugin that has conflict with Custom Sidebars is jQuery Vertical Scroller (from https://sirisgraphics.com/) that I was already successeful using before I installed Custom Sidebars. If I activate Customs Sidebars the Scroller does not show in the page.
I inspected the source code and I realised that when Custom Sidebars is active it seems that the jQuery Scroller simply is not loaded.

I would be very grateful if you can find a solution because I made a lot of search and testing and these two plugins are the ones that fullfil my needs for the respective functions.

    Kind regards,
    Ajar

Hello @f8ajar , I hope you are well.

I’ve tested the jQuery Vertical Scroller plugin along with the Custom Sidebars and can’t replicate the same. The post scrolling widget is working well within the Custom Sidebar with the Twenty Fifteen theme activated. Please see the screencast:

So there is something else conflicting with the plugin on your installation. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins and test for a conflict with your theme?

Follow the instructions from this flowchart:

Let us know how it went!
