    One reason for this behaviour is the theme setting heights on each item to ensure a consistent visual look. Because the Afterpay messaging is rendered via Javascript, the theme’s Javascript doesn’t take the message height into account and can cause overlap.

    Depending on the theme, a potential workaround can be specifying additional height or margin to elements to accommodate the space needed by the Afterpay message.
