You can add this css to custom css in plugin settings/reviews to fix the issue:

.shortcode-wcpr-content .shortcode-review-content-container .star-rating:before, .shortcode-wcpr-stars-count .star-rating:before, .shortcode-wcpr-modal-wrap .shortcode-wcpr-modal-content .star-rating:before {
    font-size: 14px;
    line-height: 16px;
}

Of course you can. Just use filter=OFF
