• I use the circumference theme for my site.
    I have never edited the theme files, all of my editing has been with plugins of customisation options. Because i really do not understand all of coding stuff. ?? Anyway I had a problem with Squirrly SEO. it was working perfectly at fine but them it stopped working. Someone at squarely support kindly looked into it and told me this…….

    You have a css in meta loaded as script not as style and raise lots of javascript errors
    <script type=’text/javascript’ src=’https://code.jquery.com/ui/1.10.4/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css?ver=3.9.1′></script&gt;

    and it should the
    <link rel=’stylesheet’ href=’https://code.jquery.com/ui/1.10.4/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css?ver=3.9.1&#8242; type=’text/css’ media=’all’ />

    which all sounds fab, but I have no idea what to do with this information. I am very new to WordPress and I need very basic instructions. Please can someone help? Thank you i advance. Kind regards, Debbie.

  • Hi Debbie…understanding code like that can be confusing. However, this appears to be related to that plugin you are using, so any support should go to them. I’m not sure who “squarely support” is, but they are correct in pointing out the above code you pasted is as they pointed out incorrect. It looks as though that plugin is loading that into your page source code incorrectly which means they will need to fix that.

    Squirrly that should have read, not squarely. Thanks so much for clarifying…. I think that i will just delete that plugin and use an alternative SEO plugin…. any suggestions are welcome. Thank you for your help again. Debs.

    I’ve never used any SEO plugins, but if you want to check out a different one, I know many use Yoast
