css images not showing with template

The images – 15 of them – are all giving a 404. They just aren’t where WP is being told to look.

so you have to use an absolute url for these images? no short prefix to the directory? bummer then.

they should be in an images folder under the the theme. Then you can use a relative path from the CSS location to the images.

wait, hold on…. are the paths in the CSS or in the HTML(php)?

the paths to the images are within the index.php template. the css file sets the negative amounts so that they show in the corners correctly. as i can do outside of the wordpress software. when used in the software it shows the images but as a group and isn’t spacing them correctly too.
