    Hi,

I’m designing a basic website using the twenty eleven theme.

I need to get rid of the padding around the side and above the posts, I’m not sure what i need to edit in the css.

I also need to make the buttons in the navigation bar be in the centre.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  • Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. Create a child theme for your changes.

I have two copies, of the theme, one called twenty eleven, and one called twenty eleven testing. I want to make these changes on the test theme.

Fair enough. ?? You need to start editing the stylesheet in your test theme. Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.
