CSS for Primary Menu for thematic theme

I am currently trying to style the menu with css.
How do I know which css file to modify?
Their are several css files for this theme and when I modified
2c-r-fixed.css it appears to have conflicting issues because the
image load but the old styling stays. Do I have to edit all css pages?
