  • Are you using a page caching plugin? If so you need to rebuild cached pages after the changes are made.

no i have the basic php files and i have no page caching plugins at all. this is started happening on the 2nd day after install.

When you make a change do a hard refresh by pressing Ctrl and Enter it should refresh right away.

Unfortunately, some hosting providers cache CSS and javascript for you. It’s their way of saving money at your expense.

In most cases, the server-side cache lasts for 24 hours, which pretty much sounds like your problem, considering that it began the 2nd day after installing WordPress and changes made are always visible the next day.

@ James that is something new I learned as I did not know that hosts do that so one make changes on files will that still take 24 hours to update.

Yeah, caching at the source seems to be the latest internet “fad.” Some ISPs are even experimenting with content caching on their end.

    It’s a web designer’s nightmare.
