    Hi David,

    You can paste the code below into the CSS custom box:

    float: left;
    padding-top: 0.36em;
    padding-right: 0.1em;
    padding-bottom: 0;
    padding-left: 0;
    font-size: 3em;
    line-height: 0.4em;

    Those are the important parts of the CSS. You can adjust the value based on your needs. If you want to adjust the color of the drop cap, use the color picker on option menu as it will be inserted into CSS automatically, no need to specify it via custom CSS box. Please let me know if you’ve solved the problem.

    Thank you,
    Yudhistira

    Marked as resolved.

    Hello,
    example you gave isn’t working for me. I wonder why.
    I’m using Divi Theme, not sure it that is the problem, but when I paste your example in my CSS nothing changes.
    Also when I change the color picker doesn’t work.
    I could make some changes only using the the Text option instead of the Visual one. It works this way, but it can be a real hard job.
    Please let me know what is wrong with what I do.

    Hi Furio,

    Have you selected custom CSS display mode in the plugin settings? The custom CSS styles will be applied only if it’s selected. For the color picker, you can try hard-refresh your browser when viewing plugin settings by pressing ctrl+f5 on your keyboard. Let me know if it works.

    Yes I did everything you suggested me even before. Instructions are explained in a great way by you, but still it doesn’t work.
    Out of curiosity, did anybody test your plugin with Divi Theme?

    I haven’t tested the plugins with Divi theme, nor received reports from users. May I know what theme and plugins are you using? Can you try switch a theme for a while to see if the plugin works? You can switch back to Divi after that.

    Ok, it works with Twenty Fifteen Theme. Not with Divi ??
    I can’t figure out any solution. Suggestions?

    CMIIW, as far as I know after reading some posts on the internet it seems that Divi uses their own page editor and put shortcodes inside regular editor. So dropcap shortcode inserted into divi editor will be inserted inside divi shortcodes so I’m afraid my plugin wouldn’t work with Divi theme.

    For more accurate information, I suggest you to contact Divi theme support.

    Ok, i’ll do that. Thank you so much for your kindness.
