• Hi

    I have a form with a lookup.
Sometimes an option maybe not available in the lookup field yet.
It would be nice to have a add new option.

i tried adding a toggle (New item) and when thats active i show the enbedded form for the lookup items)
However that entry only gets saved when submitting the form, so the user has to fill in the form again.

My next try was to add a html block and include the form in that htrml block.

It works as the user can then submit the subform with the details of the new item, the main form reloads so al good.

Only one problem, the css is messed up.
Everything under the html block will be lined up different.

    if i have:

    field 1 field 2 field 3

    it will be

    field 1
    fiel 2
    field 3

After the adding of the html block.

Is there a better way, or may i suggest it as feature request to be able to add new item to lookup field? (that would be great)

    Hi,

Sorry, can you please clarify does your question related to E2Pdf or to Formidable Forms functionality? As it seems you have problem with the Formidable Forms Form directly. If so – you need to contact to Formidable Forms support directly as we provide support only to E2Pdf.

If the question is related to E2Pdf (render data inside PDF), can you please attach some screenshots which describes the issue with more details (mapping shortcodes / pdf output / etc)? Thank you.
