    Hello,

My sidebar widget ‘recent posts with excerpts’ is different when using different browsers. I recently changed font size to 100% but when I inspect the element on Firefox & Chrome it says 130% – the old size. When I download style sheet from server using FTP it says 100%. (I know all about server permissions etc). It’s like chrome is accessing a different css. The only browser that shows 100% is the Maxthon browser. Is there another css located elsewhere? I am using modified TwentyTen now ‘wastedtime’. Or is the ‘Recent posts’ overriding css code.
    Bit worried here.

    Cheers,

    Gordon

  • Without seeing the site, not really possible to answer this kind of question, except to recommend that you validate your pages for possible errors which often cause browser issues.

    Hello WPyogi,

Got 30 errors. First said; style.css
    1482 Parse Error [empty string]

Trouble is the style.css is not numbered.

What’s an empty string. Also been searching and found this.

‘Apparently, the border-radius throwing a Parse Error [empty string] is a bug in the W3C CSS validator.

It seems to have appeared when I updated plugin.

And it’s definitely a page problem as I use plugin for my blogs and for my music releases page and it only effects the latter.

Cheers and thanks for prompt reply.

    Hello Andrew,

Went to CSS creator.com forum and some smart guy called Gary suggested clearing my cache and hey presto everything is sorted. Would never have occurred to me to do that.

    Thanks for the link Andrew

    & cheers,

    Gordon
