• Enfold uses this style for blockquotes and other elements. On the link provided, the mailing address block should have a border left.

    .main_color blockquote, .main_color .avia-bullet, .main_color .av-no-color.av-icon-style-border a.av-icon-char {
        border-color: #990000;
    }

    When activating your plugin, the border color no longer displays. There is a conflict. As soon as I deactivate your plugin, it appears.

    Enfold is widely used. Please offer a solution so that our theme does not display incorrectly.

    Thank you!

  • Hi @welswebmaster

    Thank you for writing in.

    Could you please activate the plugin once so that we can check what’s causing the issue and provide you a proper solution for that.

    Regards!

    The plugin is activated. You can see the notification bar at the top with the COVID-19 messages.

    Next, you can go to the page URL I gave you previously. Look at the mailing address block, no left border.

    Once I deactivate the Apex plugin, the border appears in the blockquote.

    Hi @welswebmaster

    I’ll make this dummy proof:

    Go to page: https://wels.net/contact-us/
    These lines are using a single blockquote HTML tag as seen below:

    <blockquote><strong>Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod</strong>
    <strong> N16W23377 Stone Ridge Drive</strong>
    <strong> Waukesha, WI 53188-1108</strong></blockquote>

    The Enfold theme styles the above code with this CSS:

    .main_color blockquote, .main_color .avia-bullet, .main_color .av-no-color.av-icon-style-border a.av-icon-char {
        border-color: #990000;
    }

    GOOD – It displays successfully without the Apex plugin like this:
    https://bit.ly/2wZwSDJ

    BAD – Once the Apex plugin is activated, it displays like this:
    https://bit.ly/3cBt5LU

    Please provide a solution so that the conflict between Apex and the popular Enfold theme live happily ever after.

    Because you haven’t responded with a solution in a timely manner, and because we take seriously the presentation of our web site, the blockquote in the frontend.css has been disabled within the Apex plugin for now. Thus the Enfold left border now displays.

    This support ticket is still open awaiting your longterm response / resolution.

    Hi @welswebmaster

    Thank you for writing in.

    We are extremely sorry for the delay in the reply. Deu to COVILD-19 we are working from home so there have been late replies. Could you please activate the plugin? We will fix the issues ASAP.

    Again, the plugin IS activated. Look at the web site. I gave you links.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for writing back.

    It could be a plugin conflict. Please try deactivating all plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).

    Please do contact us if the issue is still persisting.

    Regards!

    You’re giving me all “canned” responses. Your plugin is the conflict. I did deactivate all plugins, Apex is the conflict. Its a style, not a function issue. Solution????

    Hi @welswebmaster

    Thank you for writing back.

    Could you please mail us at [email protected] with your issue details we will reply to you there with a better solution.

    You still haven’t fixed this issue with your new updated version. You shouldn’t be styling a site’s blockquote. A site’s theme is responsible for that. Rename your blockquote to a seperate style.
