• I have a WordPress 2.04 site using the Tarski template and have successfully embedded Zenphoto by following advice found at these forums. Before I go live with the photo gallery, I have one glaring issue to resolve – the height of the horizontal header menu grows when viewing the gallery page.

    Main site: https://www.bicyclesofojai.com
    Gallery page: https://www.bicyclesofojai.com/zenphoto

I have some experience with CSS, but cannot figure out what CSS element or class is causing the conflict. I am hoping someone with a better knowledge of CSS can examine the site and assist me in identifying what needs to be corrected so the horizontal menu is a consistent height.

If it’s helpful, I’ve pasted the modified Zenphoto template here:

If I’ve forgotten anything, please forgive me as I’m still a bit new at this, and do give me a heads-up regarding what’s needed.

    Thank you, Dave

  • You might want to paste your theme css and the zenphoto css in the same file in pastebin so that people can look at them side-by-side.

Thanks Haeccceity, and everyone else who might have looked – would have been a good idea to include the CSS files, but I errantly assumed they would have been accessible… my bad.

I did receive a solution from the also wonderful folks at the https://www.ZENPHOTO.org/support forums. If this particular answer will help anyone with a similar need.

Great communities, both WordPress and Zenphoto – I’ve learned much from you all!

Well, the css files ARE accessible for any of us using FF….

Ojai, huh? I lived there in 1954-1958….

Moved to Ojai back in 1957 and still love the Valley, perhaps more than ever. Graduated from H.S. (Nordhoff), moved away as all bored teenagers do when somewhere else is a greener pasture, and came back when the realization hit me that Ojai really is a slice of heaven so to speak.

Lots of stuff on the web ’bout Ojai – Hollywood loves it too! Folks needing a get-away weekend should check out the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, now a 5-diamond resort. The onsite spa is one of the best in the US…

We went to school first at Monica Ros’s private academy, then moved to “upper Ojai” and went to the 2-room public school there for a couple of years. I’ve never been back – I don’t want to see what it’s like now…. I’m sure Sisar Canyon Road is now either gone, or inundated with housing…. doubt you can get over the mountain into the Sespé that way any more.

Is Suphur Canyon still there? Talk about rotten eggs!

I guess this is all very extraneous. If you’d like to further compare notes, you can reach me off-board at vkaryl_at_bytehaven*dot*com.
