    Hi guys,

Just wondering if this hides css classes and IDs as well? Otherwise it’s pretty easy for anyone to search for words like “woocommerce” or “elementor” in the page source.

Also are all rewrites done via nginx or are some done via php? I’m looking for a solution which does everything at the server level for max performance.

    Thanks!

Hi and thank you for the question.

The classes and IDs can be removed with Hide My WP > Mapping > Text Mapping feature. We don’t recommend removing classes like woocommerce and elementor from the source code because it will break the plugins who use them.

All the nginx rewrites are done via a config file called from nginx.conf.

Note! Even if you don’t hide all the classes from source code, Hide My WP Ghost does all the required actions to keep your website safe from most attacks made by bots. Hide My WP Ghost will protect all the vulnerable plugins and themes by changing and hiding the vulnerable paths and preventing injection into files.
