    Hi;

I tried changing some colors in the CSS via the theme editor. I don’t see the changes in my blog. I changed the colors in clearly labeled styles (ie header). I hit the update file button. I also blew the cache in my browser and reloaded. No changes.

Is there a trick I am overlooking?

    Thanks

  • Hi

I just applied the edit you recommended and Ctrl F5 (using the colour code #E69821 instead of black but it still is grey.

    URL is https://www.voipworking4you.info .

Now I have changed it in the style.css and in the header.php but no cigar.

It’s working fine where I am — lovely shade of mango orange!

    Try ctrl-f5 to refresh ??

    Many thanks Maerk

Must be a IE problem as deleting temp files didn’t work and nor did CTRL F5 – it does refresh but back to grey.

    Don’t understand how but ….

I’m gathering I might need to download Firefox as it might be a bit bright:)

OK .. now this is definitley weird.

Definitely my PC … downloaded Firefox and I get the same effect in there .. still grey.

I swear I have tried the CTRL F5 atleast four times .. not that more than once would help ??

    I’m almost beaten!

    Tried deleting your cookies?

Right, I just checked, when I visit your domain, I get redirected to an article with the right orange background. When I actually visit the blog, the colour hasn’t changed — you haven’t changed the CSS in the <head> tag which is found in your Header file when you use the Template editor.

Sorry, I’ve been giving false reassurance!
