CSS changes not getting pushed to CDN

PS I am aware of the “purge CDN” feature, but don’t want to try it without understanding whether it’s the right way to do this. Is that what this feature is for?

I believe using the purge tool removes the last cached object, for example, https://myexampleurl.com/wp-content/uploads/myexampletheme/style.css from being saved in the cache if it’s not longer available to the site and Total Cache. You’re purging the object once it’s not longer relevant or you want to replace it with an updated style.css file.
