Please help – I can’t find any answers on the web and it’s driving me crazy!!

I have W3 Installed and am also using Amazon Cloudfront CDN (my server runs it I don’t have access to the Cloudfront settings).

None of the changes I make in CSS take effect, either in style.css or custom.css.

Even after 24 hours I don’t see the changes.

I have minify disabled except for JS, I have page caching via apc disabled, I have style.css and custom.css in the box “never minify the following files”.

Do I need to completely deactivate the plugin to make CSS changes? And for how long because when I tried this for a short period it didn’t help.

    Thank you!!!

Resolved! In the W3 settings, I added style.css and custom.css to Performance>CDN>Rejected files and the changes rendered.

    No not resolved!!! Aaargh!!

I went to bed with my CSS changes in place. Woke up this morning and refreshed the page and they’ve gone!!

    What goes on?

    My server supplied the answer.

Under CDN I have to remove cdn.mysite.com from “Replace site’s hostname with:”

Actually that’s not a good solution either as when I reactivated the CDN the CSS changes were lost again.

Now I’ve unchecked “Host Theme Files” in the W3 CDN settings and that seems to be working.
