    Hi,

    I just paid for the paid version of the plugin yesterday and love it!

    But … I’m using a theme that serves my front page image like this:
    <div class="et_pb_slide et_pb_bg_layout_dark et_pb_media_alignment_center et-pb-active-slide" style="background-color:#ffffff;background-image:url(https://sitename.com/media/frontpage-image.jpg);">

    And that image is loaded no matter what, it seems. I.e. Retina version is not loaded.

    Is that something you could fix, please?

    Thanks again for a great plugin ??

    Hello Ras,

    Sorry, the plugin cannot manage CSS (and shouldn’t). The theme’s CSS should be handling its own retina images with CSS media types. The plugin takes care of all the rest. However it seems the theme is writing CSS embedded in the HTML on the fly. Isn’t this a bit weird? Mmm. You should maybe ask the theme developer, I think he probably has a fix for it.

    They can use function provided by my plugin if they need to detect the presence of a retina file or not ?? I added function specifically for other plugins and themes to use. Let me know how it goes ??

    Thanks ??

    My theme (Divi) doesn’t support retina images ref. this support thread, so I guess nothing much to do about it right now ??

    I am pretty sure if you pay a developer for one hour or two he can fixes the theme for you. My plugin provides function that can be used to retrieve the retina images more easily too (so you should tell that to the developer as well). It could worth it ??
