CSS and widgets resetting

Hello, I am making changes to the CSS and just modifying the look of the theme. I finish my changes and they work. However the next day everything is reset to the original state of the theme, and widgets that I have saved are also gone. The only thing that stays is the post and pages. Is there something on the theme causing this reset? the css file I am updating is the style.css.min on the css folder. I contacted my hosting company (Hostmonster) they are investigating, but they say that your theme might be the problem. Please help!
