css and Field Group Tabs

In addition to this question: also the font-size of the explanatory text is much larger than normal when Field Group Tabs is enabled, and I cannot find where to change this.

The Field Group Tabs plugin by necessity uses a different template, so there can be layout changes. You have a couple of options: one is to add CSS rules to get the formatting you want (this is best done in the Participants Database Custom CSS settings) or use a custom template that uses your preferred HTML to present the form.

It takes some understanding of PHP to convert your old template to use the tabs, but it’s not difficult. Then you would specify your template in the shortcode, no need to use the tabs=true part with a custom template.

I understand the necessity for a different template, although I would have expected a more or less identical layout, apart from the tabs of course. Now there’s too much of a difference in my opinion.

I’d prefer to add css-rules, as I already use 2 custom templates, I don’t want to get this more complicated than it already is for me, so I’ll have a go at the css first.
Great add-on anyway ??
