• It’s a work in progress – I do a little bit here and there daily – but I would like to throw this up, with my heavy modifications from a web design off of OSWD.org that I modified heavily to convert for use in WP.

Anyway, I’m hoping I could get some feedback on how to streamline it a little bit better, those refining touches of functionality as well as cosmetics. I’m completely open to suggestions. The site’s content has probably about enough to give you the idea of what I want to do with it (a lot), and so you can tell me what other plugins might be useful, though I’m not particularly well-versed in PHP beyond basic understanding of how it works, so any of those little tweaks that require moreso, I may not be able to do on my own.

    Thanks a lot!

Still doing quite a bit of refining; I get the feeling that there’s something missing, that perhaps I’m making things far too difficult for myself.

Also, the site just feels unfinished; even with just the temporary header, which will eventually be fixed as soon as some friends with skills in the visual department have some free time to throw some magic my way.

What I’m hoping for is the expertise of the community to basically tell me what’s wrong, right and missing for this site before I begin to go live with it. Any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated, because I know this thing is not as nearly as good as it could or should be.

I think it looks good, but the sidebar seems to be floating to the right in FireFox which is an issue I guess I’d sort out first.

Okay, kinda sorta got that fixed up, but for some reason it doesn’t look right to me. Is it just the color scheme, maybe?

Or am I just being way too picky about how this blog looks with absolutely zero web design talent available?

It’s looking pretty good to me… =) Keep up the good work, kind of reminds me of the “old” phpBB color scheme they used lol..
