• I’d like to publish the entire article to facebook. Using “Post as Note” and “Use Post Excerpt as Post Attribute” shows a link to a note with the article, but I want the complete post directly as status update – how can I configurate so? The normal configuration displays just an excerpt and a link.

You can try setting the “Use Post Excerpt as Post Attribute” option and then set the post Excerpt to be a very large value – however that will not use any HTML formatting.

Posting as a Note is the closest you’ll get to a blog style post but notes don’t display on the main wall – they are simply linked to : but that is how Facebook do it, there is nothing I can do about that.

That trick works. However, there is still this box below the text with the preview of the article. Which configurations do I need to remove it? At the end I’d like to have the post shown on Facebook exactly like copy-and-pasting (w/o html formatting) to the “standard” form that appears when you visit your site with a desktop browser (I hope you know what I mean). The reason is that it seems like the viewers just read articles directly posted to FB, they don’t follow any links.
    Thanks for your patience.

Wordbooker was designed as a way of posting to FB with the intention of drawing people’s attention to your blog so its always going to include the link back to the blog because that’s what its designed to do.

I understand. I cannot draw my readers’ attention to my blog, that is the problem. So there is no option for a plain link at the end of the excerpt or so…

Too bad, I’ll have to copy it by myself then. I hoped Wordbooker could do it for me.
    Thank you, anyway.

Sorry, I totally misunderstood how Facebook and Wordbooker work.
Also, I didn’t know what I wanted, but now I do.

I want to post the article (complete, so the Excerpt has to be set to the largest value) with the post thumbnail as picture to Facebook. At the end of the post there should be a text like “Article on the blog: [link]”.

So I looked at the source code. There is a function wordbooker_photo_post but it seems like it is not used.

I guess that the code to activate it has to be placed in wordbooker_process_functions.php as case 5 at about line 450. Next, there is a need of implement a $posting_target['target_type'] = 5 in the UI.

Do you already have coded that? Or should I do it myself?

Photo_post is about uploading photos to albums and is a work in progress and should not be used as the supporting code needed to handle it is not complete.
