    Hello Support,

I’m struggling about re-run Complianz Wizard on a subfolder domain (no cookies are not found even after cleaning the cookies and in Incognito mode) and the Cookie Banner page is not loaded giving an error message referred to the main domain.
I’ve read the article https://complianz.io/cross-domain-cookie-consent/ but does not look like to be helpful.

It’s fine for me if the main domain and subfolder domain share the same cookies (it’s the same website in different language), but is it possible to show the cookie banner and update the placed cookies whenever a user visits a subfolder website for the first time and not only on the main domain?

    Thank you.

    Hi @elttlc,

If the site uses the root domain cookies, the banner should still appear on the subfolder website on the first visit. As neither the subfolder nor the main domain has any cookies set.

If you visited the root before, and your subfolder uses the main domain for cookies, the banner should be dismissed not unavailable.

    Could you share the error?

    regards Aert

    Hi Aert,

The page where I’m trying to create the Cookie Policy is in the /en subfolder.
No Cookie domain are found after scanning and when clicking on Cookie Banner I get the error: https://ibb.co/5x1F3Yp

    Hi @elttlc,

Could you post the URl + subfolder so we can have a look?

    regards Aert

    Hi @elttlc

You have a jquery error on your website. As Complianz is loading as last javascript, this error will cause issues for Complianz.

    This is the error:
    wpo-minify-footer-15e1695d.min.js:78

This seems to be caused by minification of the WP Optimize plugin

Can you please try to uncheck the option ” Enable minification of JavaScript files” from WP-Optimize > Minify > Javascript and check if it helps to fix the issue?

    Hi Rogier,

I’ve completely disabled the JavaScript minification, but still the Cookie banner does not appear on the English version, but so does in German version. As you know WP-Optmize settings are defined at the Network level.

I keep the minification disable for the time you need for your tests.

    Thank you.

All values in your cookiebanner seem to return ‘null’. This is now causing an error. Can you try setting values for all options in the cookiebanner editor, then save these settings?

Do you mean the cookiebanner in the https://www.cecilia-hebamme.com/en ? If so the problem is that I cannot access the Cookie Banner under Complianz menu, the page give an error. It works in https://www.cecilia-hebamme.com.

Is there an alternative way to restore the Cookie Banner settings and correct the page error?

I’ve deleted the plugin and installed it again, but nothing changes (cache is disabled).

I’ve also try to reach the Cookie Banner settings which does not work directly typing the URL (copying from the German website): the page opens, but edits are not saved.

Do you have any further hints?
