    Hello,

I have a couple of images that aren’t cropping too great so I followed the instructions at this site: here

This is exactly what I need, and it has worked to a certain extent. I can see the updated thumbnail in the back end but the thumbnail in the front end embedded gallery remains the same. I’ve cleared my cache to make sure it wasn’t this that was the problem but unfortunately had no success.

As I say, I have followed the instructions in the link above. I have also tried adding the gallery to the posts / pages again but it doesn’t seem to affect anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@kieranmcclung – Did you clear the image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous, or are you referring to your Browser cache(s)?

If you have any caching plugins you may need to clear those as well. Otherwise a link to the gallery may help to provide additional ideas.

    Thanks!

    Amazing!

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, and with the correct answer too. I didn’t realise the plugin had it’s own cache but clearing that fixed everything.

Thank you again, it’s greatly appreciated.

@kieranmcclung – Yes, there is a cache in the plugin which will eventually be cleared but sometimes it needs to be done manually, especially in cases where you have made a change to a specific gallery inserted via the IGW (aka “green button”).

Thanks for the follow-up and letting us know it’s working for you now.

    – Cais.
