Cropped Pictures

Hi, I have a few questions regarding product pictures in my shopping section. The main thumbnails on my product page appears cropped on the side – left and right.
Original pics has more black around the edges – any way to bring that back?

Also after clicking into the individual product and my mouse go over the main large thumbnail, the image slides left and right relative to my mouseover. Can I make the image static?
