How can I enlarge the images so that only a portion of it shows in the thumbnails intstead of the whole image? some of them are already doing that like the POM stuff, but see the image in the top right corner? A story board shows the whole thing and it’s small. I’d like to zoom in and show only a portion of it, and when they click the popup opens up to reveal the rest.

I’d like all of them to be 400×400. And then the cropped images inside of those squares.

    Thanks

@doland – You will most likely need to go under Gallery > Manage Galleries and edit each thumbnail to display the section of the image you want to show. Then you will need to re-size the entire gallery’s thumbnails to the display size you want to use.

Once that is done you will need to remove the existing display from the post/page and re-insert it (make sure you are not using the over-ride thumbnails option in the display as well).

You may also need to clear your image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous (as well as any other related caches on the site) as well as use an anonymous browser window to see the effects immediately.

    Thanks!

ok cool, done! thanks. I didn’t have to remove the existing display and reinsert tho. Just edited each image’s cropping, resized the gallery to 400px, re-upload some of the smaller images and 20 hours later, voila! jk it was only a couple of hours. i love the large images now. thanks.
