    Hi,
    I wanted to buy the paid version, but wanted to try the free one first. It did not work, so I added the recommended code in the FAQ
    define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true);
    However, the urls of my site started to show random cronjobs like this:

    https://coptic-treasures.com/wp/encyclopedia/?doing_wp_cron=1471110247.5050280094146728515625

    I read online and found that enabling the alternate wp cron can be the cause of this.
    What shall I do to get the plugin working without adding this meaningless cron to the urls?
    Thanks

    Hi,

    Cron is required for the plugin to work if your site isn’t getting hits every few minutes else the post won’t be triggered. If you don’t like this type then you can contact your hosting provider and ask them to setup a cron job for you, as hosting providers also have such services.

    Cron can be a real pain sometimes but it’s really useful. Let me know if that helps. ??

    PS: I replied this to you on 17th of August via email but never received a reply. Did you not get the email? ??

    Please have a look at this document, it’s standard throughout WordPress:
