    Hello,

I’m trying to use this on a WP multi-site install. Seems to be working fine but get the following warning message on the settings page of Koko:

There seems to be an issue with your site’s WP Cron configuration that prevents Koko Analytics from automatically processing your statistics. If you’re not sure what this is about, please ask your webhost to look into this.

    Any tips to troubleshoot?

You get this warning but at the same time all statistics work and are shown normally?

Maybe it’s a false positive. If everything works I wouldn’t worry about it, if your cron doesn’t work it wouldn’t show any statistics at all.

If you want to investigate you can start by installing a plugin like Advanced Cron Manager, that will show you your WP Cron queue and you can see if things are “flowing through” normally or if it’s stuck.

It’s possible that you have a custom cron setup where you don’t use WP cron but instead use normal cron jobs, if your webmaster or hosting provider set that up for you in the past. This is sometimes done for larger sites to make things run more stable.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Hi and thanks for this great plugin.
On my site I’ve got the cron warning and after installing the Andanced Cron Manager plugin I tried to manually execute a task and it says that all ok, but I have zero views on the koko graph. What can I do to be sure that Koko is running without any issue?

    Thanks

What is the exact cron warning you see?
Did you already wait a few hours to collect statistics?

    This is the message:

There seems to be an issue with your site’s WP Cron configuration that prevents Koko Analytics from automatically processing your statistics. If you’re not sure what this is about, please ask your webhost to look into this.

Anyway, after a few hours I can see some results in graph. Does it mean that the previous message is a false positive?

    thanx

It’s possible. Is it a low traffic site?
You can setup a manual cronjob, or you can setup a free uptime monitor that check your site every 5 minutes as that will also trigger wp-cron. If there is n o visitors wp-cron will not be triggered.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!
