Cron unschedule event error for hook

Hello Everyone,

This one’s been haunting me for a few weeks now so i thought i would come on here and see if anyone can shed some light on my situation.

My error log has been spammed for the past month with the error ‘Cron unschedule event error for hook: ghu_get_remote_plugin, Error code: could_not_set,’ and for the life of me i cannot figure out the error. I’ve tried plugin/theme deactivation, php versions, reinstalling wordpress, resource allocation, reverting to previous backups. All ended up wasting time. If anyone can help, or even give ideas as to what it could be, i’d be very grateful.
