    Settings > Cron

    Email count
Number of emails that you want to trigger per hour.

Thats works not like it written.
Really it should be – “number of mails that send each time CRON triggered”.

If CRON runs every one minute – and “Email count” set to 50, script try to send 50 mails every one minute, not 50 mails in one hour.
With settings like that – already after 3 minutes, 150 messages will be mailed.

Also, if sending process is longer that one minute, and CRON run new one task – in this case users gets more that one message.

  • Hello,

    Yes..that’s correct.

Currently, it’s a number of mails that send each time CRON triggered.

We will change the label of this settings.

So, we recommend to set the number according to your cron settings..

    Hope that helps.
