I have a pretty large WordPress site – about 10G total. I’d also like to schedule automatic backup scheduling – I’m assuming this plugin will use CRON jobs? Will this plugin be able to automatically backup my site AND split the backup into separate files every gig or 2 gigs? I think my server has a 2GB limit on file size so I’d like to keep it to 1GB if possible. Also, can this plugin store the backups on my own server in a folder of my choosing? Thanks!

    This plugin may :
    – save your site every X days
    – sent the backup to your external FTP
    – split the backup in a plurality of zip

NEVERTHELESS, 2GB is often to big for standard host as there is memory limitation and time execution limit. For instance, I backup my website with 15MB files … (and no files bigger than 15MB may be saved). Thus 10GB may generate quite a number of files ??

Thanks for the reply. 15MB would certainly be too small. Is that size set somewhere in the code? Maybe I could alter that to allow for much larger single-file sizes?

Not in the code ?? in the configuration tab of the plugin

I am not so a dirty coder ??
