cron job no longer reports plugin upgrades via email

  • hello MainWP support team,

    first, thanks really a lot for such a great & free plugin! Love it ??

    i use mainwp for quite some time and from the beginning I disabled the wp-cron feature and added a system cronjob to check and get notified about updates.

    wget -O /dev/null https://yourdashboard.com/wp-content/plugins/mainwp/cron/updatescheck.php > /dev/null 2>&1

    in the past i would receive an email with a report for plugin and wordpress updates.

    but since a few weeks i only receive report emails for wordpress core updates. plugin updates are no longer reported!

    e.g. today i haven’t received any email from the mainwp system but if i log into the system i see that there are 5 plugin upgrades available.

    i would be more than thankful if anyone could have a look into this issue?

    hello there,

    just installed the new dashboard and child version 3.1 on my sites.
    will report back if it fixes the cron job issue.

    yep, dashboard vesion 3.1 fixed this issue. today i received an email with notify about an available plugin update ??
