cron job for bulk video thumbs

I am using youtubes api to upload videos and then display on site, unfortunately the post is generated before youtube finishes processing so I get the gray temp icon as the featured picture. I would like to run the bulk generator every 5-10 minutes automatically. Can you direct me to a way I could do this.
