Cron job feedwordpress

evry one face this problem now feedwordpress is not working with latest version

Hi,

I got this error as well after upgrading to wordpress 2.1 and feedwordpress 0.981, my other site https://www.b2bsee.com is running on wordpress 2.07 and feedwordpress 0.98 and the cpanel cron job runs fine. But my site https://www.coolwebpagetools.com/blog/ just wouldnt work. Radgeek has now posted the reason on his website, see the comments on the latest version.

I changed the cron job to read as below.

from
curl –silent –user username:password https://www.domain.com/blog/wp-content/update-feeds.php -d update=quiet

to
curl –silent https://www.domain.com/blog/wp-content/update-feeds.php -d update=quiet -d log=username -d pwd=password

just replace domain/blog/ with your path to update feeds and username to the username you want to use and password to the password for the username. It seems to work fine now.

I used the standard link in cpanel cron so chose the time settings from the menus, if you use the advanced method you will have to enter the string as

/usr/bin/curl https://xyz.com/blog/wp-content/update-feeds.php -d update=quiet -d log=peter -d pwd=abc

where xyx.com/blog/ would be your path and log=peter would be your username and pwd=abc would be your password.

There may be another update soon to 0.99 according to radgeek.
