I just updated to WordPress 5.5 and all plugins.
I’m not sure if that is the reason but my cron jobs are failing. I Checked Site Health in Tools and see this message:
“The scheduled event, crontrol_cron_job, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.”

I’m running notifications from the plugin Amelia (Appointment Calendar)
    What can I do?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

In Cron Events every event shows up with a red exclamation point. When I try to run an event manually by clicking “Run Now” it throws a critical error: “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
Learn more about debugging in WordPress.”

No instructions are ever sent to my inbox.

Very sorry to hear this @esp2013 but you’ll need to post this in the main WordPress support forums as I’m unable to help debug cron problems on individual sites. This isn’t a problem with the WP Crontrol plugin itself.

I would first of all though try deactivating your other plugins one by one to see if the problem goes away.

You may also want to all your web host for access to your error log where you can find out the error message.

    Best of luck!

Thanks, I’ll just find a new plugin for cron jobs because all of the site’s other plugins are necessary.
