Hello and thank you very much for your plugin. Today I noticed that a cron job (every 15 mn) that I created 3 months ago has disappeared without any warning maybe a few weeks ago.

I didn’t realized until now that the task wasn’t done anymore (sending reminder e-mails and follow-up emails to clients), so it is quite a problem. It happened on two different websites.

Maybe do you know the origin of the problem ? Thank you in advance for your help and have a nice day.

I’ve never seen this myself but I have seen several other people reporting it. It seems like it could be an issue in the core of WordPress (ie. not specific to WP Crontrol), but it’s not clear. Here’s the WordPress core bug report.

I don’t have any advice to give on this at the moment other than to re-add the event and then keep an eye on it. I have considered adding a monitoring mechanism to WP Crontrol so you can get alerted if a cron event goes missing, but it’s not high on my list of priorities at the moment.

Hello and thank you very much for your answer. The same problem (custom cron task just disappear of the list) has occurred several times. I had to recreate it manually each time. I still don’t know the cause of this problem, so I check each month if the cron task is still there.

Same – created a plugin and put it on a cron, keeps deleting itself from the cron list

Same here, with a PHP event.
