Cron issue – high load…what to do?

    Hi,

    I had this sent to me from the hosting company last night:

    Account suspended for high load for 2 hours.

    Affected site :
    invisible-movement.net/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron**

    I was wondering if disabling cron could prevent these things from happening and, if so, how do I disable cron? I would really appreciate help, as my site is known to have too many people visit it on Tuesdays. Thank you in advance.
