After the last plugin update, some cron and some previously entered schedules unexpectedly disappeared.

Also, when adding a cron schedule, it appears to be inserted correctly but nothing is actually saved (see attached image)

I believe that the update has reset the inserted cron schedules and, due to the lack of them, the cron events have been deleted.

Can you please verify and fix the problem?
The plugin is very useful and it is unfortunate that some features are no longer available because of these errors

Thanks for the message. There were no changes to the handling of cron events or schedules in this release. The only change in that regard was how the event callback function for PHP cron events operates.

It sounds like your site is experiencing one of the mystery bugs with the cron system in WordPress, I’ve published some docs on this here: https://wp-crontrol.com/help/problems-managing-events/ .

    Thank you for your response.

However, I think some problem is there, as you can no longer add custom Cron Programs.

The system responds that it has created the new schedule correctly, but nothing is added…

I think I have identified the problem: when adding a new cron schedule, the “crontrol_schedules” option is not updated with the new value entered.

    Can you please verify?

Sorry, custom cron schedules are saved in options “crontrol_schedules” but these values are shown neither on the general list nor on the choice select.

    Can you please verify?
