CRM and CRMshop

Finally, at last we have moved the CRM on. After much deliberation we have decided to couple it with a shop plugin. We will still be endeavouring to add the email element but the shop stage will mean some re-ordering of fields etc. So we decided to start with this first.

So the details. We will be using the eShop plugin built by Quirm. This plugin brings much in it’s simplicity and uses WordPress posts and pages bringing compatibility with custom WordPress features. We will be modifying the database elements of the plugin so that the shop and crm will fit.

The tasklist is:

1. We will create new plugin called CRMshop which is upgraded version on eShop. We will make required changes in eShop to save all information to CRM while checkout.
2. We will also upgrade current CRM plugin which is compatible to CRMshop. We will add one new customer type in CRM plugin for shop customers. We will display those customer’s information in CRM plugin.
