I spent about 2 years planning and designing it. I couldn’t have done it without WordPress.

I really like it. You did that in wordpress? I’m a beginner.. could you explain how you went about doing this. What theme… how you modified it and if you did any code work. I’m just starting out doing websites.. a late bloomer so any and all help is appreciated. I think it looks awesome.

I coded 100% of the theme myself.

I started by studying the WordPress themes that came with WP and learned how everything fits together. It took me a long time and many different versions of the theme (what you see is version 5) to get it just right.

However, I personally do NOT like how much BLACK background you have

What do you mean by black background? I don’t have any black backgrounds on the site at all.

That’s a picture used for the site’s stats.

You can get it by using the WordPress.com Stats plugin.

No, I don’t plan on selling this theme. I might create a few WP themes based on this design and give them away later though.
