Critical Problem

  • Hello,

    I receive the below notification from Wordfence today. It looks more concerning than other warnings I have received since it is “critical”. Is this something I should be concerned about? Do you any of you have suggestions on how to resolve it?

    You can click on “See how the file has changed.” to take a closer look about this modification, although modifying the core WordPress files isn’t recommended but some hosting providers are known to modify certain files to support some of the features they provide, so it will be a good idea to contact your hosting provider regarding this issue, in case they didn’t recognize this file change, then I recommend clicking on “Restore the original version of this file.”.
