Critical Issue Warnings

  • Hi Guys
    The Site Health notification is always telling me there is one critical issue.

    Your installation of WordPress prompts for FTP credentials to perform updates. (Your site is performing updates over FTP due to file ownership. Talk to your hosting company.)

    This is correct, but it is not a critical issue.

    For security reasons, i never allow automatic updates fron any plug in or even from WordPress itself. I prefer to check the update for any known issues before i allow it. Hence FTP is enabled.

    To allow any plugin or WordPress to auto access your site to update is in itself a sceurity issue. Nothing should be allowed direct access in my opinion.

    Is there a way to stop this alert?
    Other than this i find this a very useful plugin.
