Hello when we enable WooCommerce Paypal Payments for unknown reason the site becomes unusable with the following critical error message:

“There has been a critical error on this website.”

In the logs I got this detailed error explanation but don’t know how to fix it:

    Hello @dnvrm

Thank you for reaching out to us, we really appreciate it.
This issue is a known issue that we are preparing a hotfix for, that should be made available ASAP. We are pending approval for this as we speak.

In one instance I was able to reproduce it and could get it resolved when I deactivated vaulting and card processing, but I was told this does not work for many people that encounter the issue.
I will link this ticket to the bug so that you will be updated once the hotfix is released.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello Joost,
Thank you so much for your reply.
    I’m desperately needing the update.
I already tried vaulting and card processing at my site, no luck.

    Looking forward to your update.

    All the best,
    Denver

    Hello @dnvrm

Good news, the hotfix that should resolve the error “get_3ds_contingency()” was released yesterday. Please update the plugin to version 1.6.1 and see if now works properly.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
