    Hello.

A message Critical error appeared on your website started to show up on our website when trying to use contact form.

I have tried to deactivate all plugins. Didn’t seem to work.

How can I fix this? Thank you.

  • I see it; your website is totally offline at this moment. Did you update your WordPress core, theme or plugins?

    Thank you, Bas.

Please, bear with me. I’m not a WP expert, nor have I participated in putting this site together.

I was routinely updating plugins as updates came along. As for core and theme updates, they are being done automatically, it seems, since I haven’t done any major updates since this trouble began.

I have tried switching off automatic updates in wp-config, but it didn’t work. It is possible I’ve done something wrong, even though I followed the instructions to the letter.

I have also activated debugging from the article you’re referring to. Still have to locate the appropriate error log, though.

Also, the site seems to be online in some browsers (Brave, Firefox) and appears to be down in others (Edge, Safari).
