• the e-mails were all still working this morning. but i wanted to change the e-mail that people get when they create a new account. as soon as i clicked publish i got a critical error. now when people create a new account they receive a blank e-mail. i tried duplicating another design and create a new e-mail from there. but again, when i click publish, i get a critical error. under this text you can find the log i received after the error. how do i fix this?

  • I have the same issue. Plugin creates a critical error when trying to edit and/or save a template. Tried to rollback but that isn’t working either.

    Getting the critical error on my site as well. This is what debug log shows.

    I was having the same fatal error. The version 1.2.8.1 fixes that issue. However now when you save/update it deletes all the work that you do on a template and makes them blank.

    I also got templates deleted on 2 sites…

    1.2.8.1 was the solution for the problem!

    Update: It seems that templates are still not being saved. I am still investigating if this is a bug on my end of the installation.

    The update does not solve the problem. When I try to save the new template it becomes blank. However no more critical error

    The error indicates that unsupported content was entered into editor/input fields, which disrupted the data structure (only the pro version provides full support – for example, in the old free version, entering a sentence with quotation marks (“) would corrupt the data upon saving).

    Starting from version 1.2.9.1, it’s compatible with PHP in cases of corrupted data and can automatically change " to ' when needed. However, since the data isn’t supported, only a blank email will be displayed. In this case, I’m afraid users will need to recreate the email content from scratch

    @angelagrey Thank you for clarification and efforts given. However, the block builder should at least have the cross version compatibility.

    Is there a way to export an old (working) template and modify it to get it working with the newer 1.2.9.1 version?

    It seems like whenever in the future I make any edits to the template I will loose the whole template unless building everything from scratch?

    Just wanted to let y’all know that the latest version may still be having some issues. Tried creating a new template. There was some issues when adding text. The written text cannot be highlighted or edited in any way once you change the font size. From that point on, the cursor just jumps to the front of the text. Tried 2 different browsers and 2 different computers with the same result. Is anyone else having a text issue?

    Just wanted to let y’all know that the latest version does not fix the problems AT ALL.
    The content of an existing template is wiped out when SAVED / PUBLISHED, living it blank.
    Text can’t be selected, etc.
    So yes @mickdodge, I think that “a lot of one elses” are still having all the previous issues…

    Any template which becomes empty after saving, please recreate the email template content and save it again.
