On my website, when you place an order WordPress runs into a critical error. This is what the page turns into when an order is placed – https://imgur.com/a/RLZ9WT5. However, I don’t receive emails to debug the error. This shows to customers when they order, and they often call or email, confused by what it means. Usually, it doesn’t affect anything, but sometimes emails will logged but not received, or some other small error occurs which I believe is being caused by this critical error. How can I fix this, or at least find out the source of where it’s being caused? Thank you so much in advance!

    Hello @yjonathan786,

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

I deactivated all my plugins and activated one by one, and it turns out an outdated plugin was causing the issue. Thank you for your help!
