    Hello,
I tried Emailkit today to be able to customize my “New Account” emails. I’ve install the plugin easily but when I’m trying to customize an email I have a critical error page from WordPress.

Could you please help me with that ?

    Dear @romainchllet ,
    ?
Thanks for reaching out to us.

In our development environment, EmailKit is functioning properly with the New Account email templates. Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the plugin. Additionally, if you have any caching plugins enabled on your site, kindly clear the caches from your site and browser. If feasible, consider disabling the caching plugin for a brief period and then check again.

If the issue persists after following these steps, please provide us with a video demonstration of the problem. This will allow us to gain a better understanding and assist you in finding a solution as soon as possible. We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation in this matter.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hi Reju,

Thank you for your answer. I tried to clean the cache from both browser and my website. I tried from safari & chrome, the problem is the same : “Critical error”.

Here is the link of the video demonstration and a screenshot of the critical error email notification.

I really want to use your plugin, I didn’t find any alternative.

    Thank you for your help.

    Romain.

    Dear @romainchllet,

I hope you are doing well, and thank you for sharing the video. First and foremost, I want to assure you that we are committed to helping our users, but we ask for your patience and cooperation. Please ensure that you are using PHP version 7.4 or higher. Additionally, there may be a conflict in your environment causing the issue. To identify the root cause, you can run a conflict test on your site (please remember to take a backup of your website before proceeding with the following steps).

To do so, first of all, switch your theme to a default theme like 2020 or Hello Elementor and check if the issue still persists. If that solves your issue, that means the issue is related to the theme you are using.

If switching to the default theme also doesn’t help, then please check if there are any conflicts between the installed plugins. To troubleshoot the issue, please deactivate other plugins except for EmailKit to check if the issue still persists. If that solves your problem, activate the plugins one by one, and continue checking the issue. In this way, you will be able to detect which one causes the problem.

Let me know your findings after performing the conflict test. If the issue persists even after that, I will take a closer look at this issue and help you to find a solution as soon as possible.

    Best Regards,
    Reju
