• Hi there,

    I installed polylang free on our company website in order to make it multilingual. I am using bricks page builder to build the pages.

    As I am experiencing some performance issues with the site I tried to disable plugin after plugin. However with polylang I experience a critical error. So at the moment it is not possible to deactivate the plugin.

    Would you please be so kind and let me know where this might come from and how I can fix that ?

    Many thanks in advance

    Andreas

    Hello,

    A deactivated plugin can do nothing. So if you have a critical error when Polylang is deactivated, that means that the error can’t be in Polylang.
    Generally, this kind of error occurs when using Polylang functions without checking that they exist, most often is custom code.
    The error message should tell you where it is.

    Hi @chouby,

    many thanks for your feedback. The issue happens when I try to deactivate the plugin.

    So as soon I hit the deactivate button I recieve a critical error.

    Hence it’s not possible to deactivate the plugin.

    When I rename the polylang folder via ftp to disable the plugin the whole site crashes.

    to me it looks like it has something to do with polylang.

    Greetings

    Andreas

    Same error, debug return me:
    Warning: Attempt to read property “model” on null in?/home/i82kk9tz/public_html/wp-content/plugins/polylang/include/api.php?on line?94

    Ver. WP -> 6.5.4
    Ver. PHP-> 8.1.22

    Any solutions?
