Critical Error When Attempting to Edit Posts

    Hello,

    I am having trouble with the Jetpack plugin, causing a critical error when I attempt to edit a post. I’d appreciate any help in getting this figured out. It also prevented me from updating from WordPress 6.3.2 to WordPress 6.4.1. Thank you.

    No instructions are sent to the site admin email inbox.

    The problem persists after:

    • disabling all plugins except Jetpack
    • activating Twenty Twenty-Three (the default WordPress theme)

    Hi @rthidden

    After running some tests, it looks like there may be an outdated or incorrect security token on your site causing this problem.

    To fix this issue, can you please deactivate and delete Jetpack entirely, and then reinstall it, as described here:

    Please note you shouldn’t lose any data (including stats and followers), but your settings will be reset so you’ll need to set them again after reinstalling and reconnecting.

    Thanks for checking in. I did not get a chance to uninstall and reinstall. But I left the Jetpack plugins deactivated for the last 2 weeks and 6 days. I just reactivated the Jetpack plugins, and the error seems to have gone away. Thanks again.
