Critical Error when activating Yoast SEO plugin

    Hi there,
    We have a critical error coming up on our website https://www.briggsresidential.co.uk when we activate the Yoast SEO plugin. Once activatd it basically makes all pages of the website go white and also the pages disappear in the wordpress dashboard > pages. I have raised this with our hosting company who have looked into this and the Feedback is below…

    “With regards to our recent conversation, the issue is not related to the primary key on the mentioned table. Rather it seems to be related to the data entry between the “briggs_yoast_indexable_hierarchy” and “briggs_yoast_indexable” table.

    In “briggs_yoast_indexable_hierarchy” table, there are missing entries that are for indexable_id 1 and 2.

    Those missing ids exist on “briggs_yoast_indexable” table, but for ID number 1, fields show a NULL value.

    We can’t manipulate the data entries on the said tables. You may contact Yoast SEO support as they are the ones that can help them further with the issue.’

    I would be happy to allow you access to the wordpress dashboard or anything if you need to look into this.

    @grahamcopestake We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

    To resolve this, can you please try the following?:

      1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
      2. Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
      3. Hit the “Reset Indexables & Migrations” button
      4. Under SEO → Tools, click the “Start SEO Data Optimization” button.
